I've been painting! I promise. I'm taking a 3 day painting workshop with painting Guru, Tim Horn, in Napa this week. My motel is so fancy-schmancy that I've had trouble getting internet, so I sat in the lobby tonight to write this post. Here's a painting I did today at the St.Supery's Dollarhide Ranch. It's a beautiful 1500 acre ranch planted with 500 acres of vineyards - every view is incredible and the weather today was perfect - we even had an hour or so of clouds this afternoon. I hope to do several more paintings tomorrow and will post them all in order when I get back home. It's such a treat to paint all day, while having Tim come by and make corrections as I work- it's helping me paint subjects that are ordinarily way out of my comfort zone.
